Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You need to have serious kidney disease (creatinine clearance less than 30)
  • You are scheduled for a stent procedure (angioplasty)
  • You are not on permanent dialysis
  • You have not had a CT scan or other contrast test in the last 3 days
  • Your doctor has confirmed that using the IVUS ultrasound is possible for you
