Who can take part

  • Your symptoms started suddenly and fit with a possible acute stroke
  • Your last “healthy” time was within the past 24 hours
  • A doctor thinks your symptoms are stroke, not fainting, seizures, or dizziness alone
  • You can safely have the MRI (you are stable enough to wait and follow instructions)
  • You can give written consent, or a proxy can sign if you cannot
