Who can take part
- Be an adult age 18 to 65
- Have a non-penetrating head injury evaluated at a participating site and get the first study dose within 24 hours
- Have moderate initial symptoms, with a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 9 to 15
- Have an abnormal finding on a non-contrast head CT (like bleeding or bruising in the brain)
- Have a blood test (GFAP) level higher than 100 pg/mL but no more than 15,000 pg/mL
- Be able to have MRI and take study capsules by mouth (no swallowing problems), and follow all follow-up visits
