This study tests a drug called cyclosporine to see if it can help people with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury. You may be eligible if you have a brain injury seen on CT and can start treatment within 24 hours.

Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have a head injury and need a CT scan.
- Your Glasgow Coma Scale score before any sedation was between 3 and 12 (this means you were not fully conscious).
- A CT scan shows a brain bruise (contusion) or tiny blood vessel injury.
- You can start the study treatment within 24 hours of the injury.
- You do not have serious kidney, liver, or other diseases that would make the study unsafe.
