Who can take part
- Your brain injury must be moderate or severe (low consciousness score and loss of consciousness for at least 30 minutes).
- You must be able to start the study within 48 hours of getting hurt.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You cannot have certain other brain conditions like dementia, Parkinson's, or a brain tumor.
- If you are able to become pregnant or father a child, you must agree to use birth control during the study and for 7 days after.
