Who can take part

  • A legal guardian must be able and willing to sign consent in writing
  • Your baby must be considered high risk for cerebral palsy or developmental delays
  • High-risk may include being born very early (at or before 32 weeks) or very low birth weight (1500 g or less)
  • High-risk may also include certain brain/neurology problems (like encephalopathy or concerning brain scan/exam findings)
  • Your baby cannot have died before leaving the neonatal unit
