Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old and sign a consent form to join.
- Your breast cancer must be confirmed as HER2-positive from a recent tissue/cell sample checked by a central lab.
- The cancer must be recurrent or metastatic (coming back or spread), confirmed with pathology (tissue) and/or cytology (cell testing).
- You should not have had chemotherapy or HER2-targeted treatment for the recurrent or metastatic breast cancer yet.
- Your health status should be ECOG 0–1 (able to do most daily activities).
- You need at least one measurable tumor spot on scans using RECIST 1.1, and your blood/organ function must be adequate.
