Who can take part
- Be between 21 and 26 years old
- In the past year, you drank at least 4 drinks (men) or 3 drinks (women) in one occasion
- Be in a stable mood (“euthymic”) at the time you enroll
- If you have bipolar disorder, your diagnosis must be confirmed by a structured interview
- Be able and willing to complete MRI scans safely (no MRI contraindications)
- Be willing to have a friend or family member drive you home after the alcohol sessions
