Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 84 years old when you join
  • Your COPD causes ongoing airflow blockage, shown by breathing test results (FEV1/FVC under 0.70 after inhaler use)
  • You have severe pulmonary hypertension confirmed by heart/lung pressure tests, with specific measurements (mPAP over 20, normal wedge pressure, and high lung-vessel resistance)
  • Your breathing shortness of breath is moderate to severe (WHO functional class II to IV)
  • You have not taken certain pulmonary hypertension medicines recently (no PDE5 pills like sildenafil/tadalafil in the past, and no other listed PH drugs in the past 3 months)
  • Your COPD treatments and, if needed, your home oxygen setup have been stable for at least 1 month
