Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older
- Your stroke symptoms started within the last 24 hours
- You need (and are eligible for) a mechanical thrombectomy to remove the clot
- You had a clot-blocking stroke severe enough for NIHSS score 6 or higher at the start
- You are treated with mechanical thrombectomy (clot removal procedure)
- You can sign an informed consent form
