Clopidogrel to prevent heart problems from minor artery plaque

Who can take part

  • You are age 40 or older
  • A heart CT scan or heart angiogram within the last 2 years showed artery plaque but no heart event afterward
  • Your scan shows no major narrowing that would require a stent/balloon procedure or bypass (stenosis not more than 50%)
  • You can sign written informed consent
  • You do not have a past history of major heart or brain vessel disease (like prior heart attack, stroke, or related conditions)
