  • Be at least 18 years old and able to consent
  • Have non-small cell lung cancer confirmed by biopsy/pathology
  • Have stage IIIB, IIIC, or IV (advanced disease)
  • Be starting an EGFR-targeted pill treatment (1st or 2nd generation), like an EGFR TKI
  • Be well enough for study participation (ECOG 0–2) and expected to live more than 8 weeks
