AuTNA I implant study for retinitis pigmentosa with minimal vision

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • You have a doctor-confirmed diagnosis of retinitis pigmentosa
  • In the study eye, you have no light perception or only suspicious light perception
  • Your eye scans (OCT) show inner retinal structure is intact, with no new blood-vessel growth (neovascularization) in the macula/choroid
  • You must not have major eye problems that could interfere with surgery or testing (like retinal detachment, severe uveitis, severe corneal issues, etc.)
  • You can take part safely: controlled general health, no pregnancy/lactation, and no recent participation in another trial
