Who can take part
- Be older than 40 years
- Have had fainting episodes for about a year, with at least two documented events (or one fainting event that caused injury) despite standard treatments
- During a real fainting episode, testing must show a slow-heart pattern (either a pause/asystole on ECG or a specific abnormal response on a tilt test)
- Your heart rhythm on ECG should be sinus rhythm (normal rhythm starting from the sinus node)
- You must be able to have the assigned treatment per the study plan and have life expectancy of at least 12 months
