This study tests whether Hunova training can help improve balance and control of your trunk (middle body) after a spinal cord injury. It compares a training program against a different study approach, and may help you sit and move more safely.

Who can take part

  • You have a spinal cord injury (from any cause).
  • Your nerve-function level must be in the AIS A or B range up to the T1 level, or AIS C or D up to the C4 level.
  • Your condition must be stable, with the injury happening no more than 6 months ago.
  • You must be able to sit up on your own (or with support as allowed) for at least 1 hour continuously.
  • You need to be able to participate in person and understand/consent to the study.
  • You cannot currently have certain issues like a breathing tube that needs suction or a spine brace (orthosis).
