Who can take part

  • You had a stroke only on one side of the brain (ischemic or bleeding type)
  • Your stroke was within the last 3 months
  • Your upper-arm muscle strength is still quite weak (grade 3 or less)
  • You are over 20 years old and can sit up for more than 15 minutes
  • You do not have certain past brain conditions, such as prior stroke or Parkinson’s/dementia
