Who can take part

  • You are older than 18 years
  • You are scheduled for heart surgery soon (within 48 hours)
  • After surgery, you start norepinephrine for low blood pressure from vasoplegic shock
  • You have been on norepinephrine with stable blood pressure (MAP above 65) for over 4 hours
  • Your blood pressure is monitored through an arterial line (radial or femoral catheter)
  • You can consent to the study before surgery
