Study C-protein changes with fatigue and aging

Who can take part

  • Be an adult age 18–35 or 65–80
  • Be healthy overall based on your own report
  • Be willing to have a muscle biopsy, do one-sided exercise, and wear/complete activity monitoring
  • Be able to read and speak English for study steps and questionnaires
  • Have no major joint problems (for example severe knee osteoarthritis or prior joint replacement)
  • Have no serious uncontrolled health conditions such as heart, lung, liver, kidney disease, or known thyroid problems
