Who can take part
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes
- You have nerve damage in your feet confirmed by a simple foot pressure test (monofilament test)
- You recently had a healed ulcer on the bottom/weight-bearing part of your foot (within the last 12 months) and it is fully closed for the study visits
- You can walk on your own for at least 30 steps (a cane or walker is okay)
- You can wear the insoles as instructed—during waking hours at home and while walking—for at least 5 hours per day
- You have adequate blood flow or healing signs in the foot area (ABI/TBI/pulses) based on screening tests
