Who can take part

  • Be age 40 or older
  • Have COPD confirmed by breathing tests: FEV1 less than 70% predicted and FEV1/FVC ratio below 0.70 after using an inhaler
  • Have had at least one moderate or severe COPD flare-up in the past year
  • Likely have sleep apnea based on a STOP-Bang score above 3, and a sleep study showing AHI 15+ per hour
  • Not be a person already using long-term oxygen or non-invasive breathing support (like BiPAP/ventilation)
  • Be able to join by phone or tablet and follow all study steps
