Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with vocal fold nodules or polyps, or you have primary muscle tension dysphonia (MTD)
  • If you have nodules/polyps, you must also have reflux (either LPR or GERD)
  • If you have primary MTD, your only allowed extra diagnoses are reflux (LPR or GERD)
  • Your condition should be related to voice overuse or muscle tension (phonotrauma), not another structural voice problem
  • You should not have certain other diagnoses such as cysts, suspected paralysis, cancer, or neurologic/respiratory conditions tied to the voice
