Who can take part
- You are currently being seen in the hospital for a stroke or brain bleed not caused by an injury
- The bleeding must be inside the skull/brain and related to stroke (ischemic, hemorrhagic, aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, or similar non-traumatic cause)
- If your stroke is “minor” (NIHSS 4 or less), the study only does blood sampling at the start (no added interventions)
- You must be willing for you (or your legal representative) to participate
- Your doctors must not think this is a “stroke mimic” condition (something that looks like stroke but isn’t)
