Who can take part
- You have Parkinson's disease and take levodopa, OR you have a DBS device, OR you are a healthy volunteer without Parkinson's
- You do not have other serious medical conditions like stroke, nerve damage, or diabetes
- You do not have dementia (scored below 24 on a memory test) or untreated depression (scored 15 or more on a depression questionnaire)
- You can cooperate with study procedures
- You are not taking painkillers unless they are paracetamol or NSAIDs, and if you do take other painkillers, a doctor has confirmed your pain treatment is stable
