Who can take part
- You are between 30 and 75 years old.
- You have a large or severe rotator cuff tear (at least 3 cm or more than one tendon completely torn).
- This is the first time you are having surgery to fix this tear.
- Your MRI shows moderate or worse fatty changes in the rotator cuff muscles, not just mild.
- You have not had a cortisone injection in the shoulder within the last month before surgery.
