TMS therapy study for ALS patients

Who can take part

  • You must have a diagnosis of ALS using the 2020 Gold Coast criteria
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must be able to lie flat on your back without a breathing machine for at least 1 hour
  • You cannot have metal implants in your head or neck, a pacemaker, or a history of seizures
  • You cannot currently take high doses of certain medications like benzodiazepines or anticonvulsants
  • You must be willing to have an MRI scan at the start of the study
