  • You are between 18 and 90 years old
  • You are having planned or emergency surgery that requires a breathing tube through your mouth
  • You do not have a neck tumor, goiter, or have had neck radiation
  • You do not have fractures in your face or neck bones
  • You are able to sign a consent form
