Who can take part
- You are generally able to take care of yourself (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- Your doctor expects you to live more than 3 months.
- You have one of these cancers: head and neck, pancreatic, non-small cell lung, certain breast cancers, or ovarian/fallopian tube cancers that have not responded to standard therapy.
- Your cancer is advanced, has come back, or has spread, and surgery or radiation is not likely to cure it.
- You have at least one tumor that can safely be biopsied (not in the bone).
- Your blood counts, liver, and kidney function are adequate.
