Who can take part
- You have head and neck cancer or brain tumors that have spread from another cancer.
- Your tumor can be measured by a CT scan, MRI, or physical exam.
- You are able to perform daily activities with little or no help from others (ECOG 0-1).
- Your life expectancy is longer than 6 months.
- Women who can get pregnant and their partners must agree to use birth control.
- You must be able to lie still in an MRI machine and not have any metal in your body.
- You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or already had radiation to the same area.
