Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older
- You can take care of yourself and do most daily activities (performance status 0–2)
- You have confirmed brain metastases with at least one untreated spot larger than 2 cm
- Your care team plans to treat you with staged stereotactic radiosurgery (SSRS)
- If you can become pregnant: you must have a negative pregnancy test and use effective birth control starting before screening and continuing through a short period after the scan
- You must be able to have the study procedures safely, including MRI if planned
