Who can take part

  • You are in the intensive care unit (ICU) with ARDS (a severe lung condition)
  • A doctor has diagnosed ARDS using standard criteria (Berlin criteria)
  • You are having at least one CT scan of your chest during your hospital stay
  • You or your family can sign a consent form to join the study
  • The CT scan images must be clear (not blurry from movement)
