Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have a disc herniation in your lower back (between L4 and S1) that is pressing on a nerve, confirmed by MRI or CT scan.
- You have tried non-surgical treatments like physical therapy, medicine, or injections for at least 6 weeks without enough relief.
- The disc at the affected level is at least 5 mm tall on imaging.
- You have leg pain or symptoms with a positive straight leg raise test.
- You score at least 30 out of 100 on a disability questionnaire (ODI).
