Who can take part

  • You are over 18 and a man or a woman who has not yet gone through menopause.
  • You have been diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) using an ultrasound, fibroscan, or liver biopsy.
  • You are overweight or obese (based on BMI).
  • You do not drink too much alcohol (less than 30 grams per day for men, less than 20 grams per day for women).
  • You do not have other liver diseases or conditions that affect bone health, like kidney or thyroid problems.
