Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 50 years old and premenopausal (for women)
- Have had a stable level of physical activity for the last 6 months
- No history of a lower-leg injury that would prevent you from doing knee extension exercises
- Not smoke cigarettes or marijuana
- Not be pregnant or planning to become pregnant within the next month
- Not have any cardiovascular, metabolic, or cognitive disease, and not be taking prescription medications or antidepressants
