Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your lung cancer is stage IB to IIIA, or a specific type of stage IIIB (called T3N2 or T4N2), and your doctor plans to remove it with surgery.
  • Your tumor has a specific genetic change called BRAF V600 or MET exon 14 mutation (confirmed by a special lab test).
  • You have not had any previous cancer treatment for this lung cancer.
  • You are in good overall health (able to do daily activities without help, ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • You do not have cancer that has spread to the brain, other forms of lung cancer (like neuroendocrine), or certain other health conditions.
