Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.
  • You do not use supplemental oxygen and your lung function is relatively stable (FEV1 at least 60%).
  • You have not smoked or vaped more than 10 pack-years total and haven't smoked or vaped in the past year.
  • You have no metal implants, claustrophobia, or other MRI safety issues.
  • You are not pregnant (if female of childbearing age).
