Who can take part
- You must be 21 years old or younger.
- You must have newly diagnosed nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC) that has not spread to distant parts of the body, and it must be stage II, III, or IV.
- You should be able to do most of your normal daily activities (doctors call this a performance status of 60% or higher).
- Your blood counts (like white blood cells and platelets) and organ function (kidney, liver, heart) need to be within certain ranges.
- If you have HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C, the virus must be under control with treatment.
- You cannot have had chemotherapy or radiation for any cancer in the last 3 years, or have an autoimmune disease that required strong medicines.
