This trial tests if baricitinib, an anti-inflammatory drug, can help people with bleeding in the brain from a head injury. It is for adults with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury who are not immediately having surgery.

Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 79 years old.
- You had a traumatic brain injury and were admitted to the hospital within 24 hours.
- A CT scan shows bleeding inside the brain (with or without other types of bleeding).
- Your Glasgow Coma Scale (level of consciousness) score is between 5 and 12 at enrollment.
- You have a closed head injury (not an open wound to the head).
- You have no sign of infection when you join the trial.
