Who can take part

  • You had a spinal cord injury in your neck area (cervical) within the last 13 weeks (about 3 months).
  • You are 16 years or older.
  • Your injury is incomplete (AIS C or D) or you have some movement below the injury even if it's a complete injury (AIS A with some partial movement).
  • You are medically stable and do not have other serious health problems that would prevent participation.
  • You do not have epilepsy, a metal implant in your brain, a defibrillator, a pacemaker, or are pregnant (for the brain stimulation tests).
