Who can take part
- Age 65 or older and live independently
- Been taking levothyroxine (thyroid medication) for at least 6 months
- Take between 75 and 200 micrograms per day, and at least 1.2 micrograms per kilogram of body weight each day
- No thyroid medication dose changes since your last thyroid test
- No history of thyroid cancer, severe kidney problems, or use of certain thyroid products
