Who can take part
- You are between 25 and 55 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder (current).
- You have moderate to severe depression symptoms (score above 10 on a standard questionnaire).
- You have stopped all antidepressants and mood medications for at least 4 weeks (8 weeks for fluoxetine/Prozac).
- You have a blood test showing inflammation (CRP level of 2 or higher).
- You are not currently taking certain pain relievers (NSAIDs), steroids, or cholesterol medications (statins).
