Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have polycythemia (high red blood cell count) confirmed by a blood test.
  • You have moderate to severe sleep apnea (more than 15 breathing pauses per hour during sleep).
  • You are not a heavy smoker or have COPD.
  • You do not have other causes of high red blood cells, like polycythemia vera or active cancer.
