Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy (a weakened, enlarged heart).
  • Your heart function has improved significantly — it now pumps at over 50% strength, and your heart is not enlarged.
  • A blood test for NT-proBNP (a marker of heart strain) is under 250.
  • You are in a normal, steady heart rhythm (sinus rhythm) and do not have atrial fibrillation.
  • You take daily heart medications: a beta-blocker plus an ACE inhibitor, ARB, or Entresto, and also either an MRA or an SGLT2i (medicines that support the heart).
