NCT07262021Not yet recruiting
Studying improved vision lenses for cataract patients

This trial tests new enhanced monofocal intraocular lenses (special lens implants) to see if they improve vision after cataract surgery. It is for people with age-related cataracts in both eyes who are otherwise healthy.

NCT01654159Enrolling by invitation
Study of vision and lens optics during cataract surgery

This study looks at how well your vision works and how different cataract surgery lens choices perform. It may help researchers better understand what affects sight after cataract surgery.

NCT05955846Not yet recruiting
Testing a new cataract lens with a virtual aperture

This trial tests a specific cataract replacement lens to see how safe it is and how well it improves vision. If you have cataracts in both eyes and are good candidate for cataract surgery, this lens may help you see more clearly after surgery.

NCT07276217Recruiting
Cataract surgery lens registry study

This trial is a registry for people having cataract surgery in both eyes. It collects information on different types of artificial lenses used to improve vision, and follows up to see how well they work.

NCT06658119Recruiting
Wide-focus lens for cataract surgery: a clinical trial

This study tests a new type of lens implant that gives you a wider range of clear vision after cataract surgery. It uses a special laser to help remove the cataract, and the lens may help you see better at near, far, and in between without glasses.

Comparing new lens types for cataract surgery

This trial compares two types of artificial lenses (intraocular lenses) used during cataract surgery: enhanced monofocal and extended depth of focus (EDoF) lenses. It aims to see which lens gives better vision for everyday activities.
