Who can take part

  • Your baby must be born between 24 weeks and 31 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy.
  • Your baby must have a moderate risk of early infection, meaning doctors would start antibiotics based on the Dutch guideline.
  • Your baby cannot be at low risk (no antibiotics needed) or high risk (signs of serious infection).
  • High risk includes conditions like mother having sepsis, need for strong breathing support, or unstable blood pressure requiring medicine.
