Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You have a spinal cord injury and can move your fingers at least a little (score of 1 to 4 on a standard muscle test).
  • Your medications have been stable for at least 30 days before starting.
  • You can avoid alcohol, smoking, and too much caffeine on study days, and avoid recreational drugs for the whole study.
  • You are able to commit to about 53 study visits.
