Who can take part

  • You need to be 14 years old or older.
  • You must be scheduled to receive a donated pulmonary valve (homograft).
  • Your surgery cannot be an emergency procedure.
  • You cannot be pregnant or have given birth within the last 6 months.
  • You must not have had a blood transfusion during surgery or in the past 6 months.
  • You cannot have certain antibodies against the donor tissue before surgery.
