Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis (scarring of the liver).
  • A CT scan in the last 3 months has shown you have significant muscle loss (sarcopenia).
  • You do not have liver cancer that is too advanced for standard treatment.
  • You have not had severe confusion, bleeding, or fluid buildup from your liver disease in the last 6 months.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and do not have untreated HIV, active tuberculosis, or other serious health problems like advanced heart or kidney disease.
