Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • Your BMI is between 30 and 40 (considered obesity range)
  • You exercise less than 1 hour per week
  • You do not have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, thyroid disease, or lung disease
  • You do not use nicotine (smoking, vaping, or chewing tobacco)
  • If you are a woman, you are not currently going through menopause or peri-menopause, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding
