SARS CoV 2 Infection

Part of Infections, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This study collects extra blood or other samples from people who are already getting routine COVID-19 tests or monitoring. The samples are used to better understand how the virus affects the body and to improve future testing.

Study immune response to COVID-19 and improve testing

This study looks at how the immune system in the body responds to different COVID-19 virus variants. It may help improve how COVID-19 is diagnosed by comparing people who are currently infected and those who are not.

Donate blood and mucus samples to study virus treatments

This study collects samples from people who currently have, recently had, or may have been exposed to common respiratory viruses. The goal is to use these samples to develop and test future countermeasures (like treatments) against COVID-19 and other viruses.

Infectious disease sample collection for future research

This study collects blood and other samples from people with certain infectious diseases to build a biobank for future research. By participating, you help scientists better understand and develop treatments for these infections.

NCT04363047Enrolling by invitation
Study of immune cells in people linked to COVID-19

This study looks at immune (infection-fighting) cells in people who have previously joined certain healthy volunteer research groups. It may help researchers better understand how the immune system responds to coronavirus infections, including COVID-19.

Send-in sample collection study for immune response to respiratory viruses

This study collects sent-in samples to better understand how your immune system responds during a COVID-19–like illness and after you recover. It may help researchers learn why some people get sick and others stay uninfected, and how immune protection works over time.

NCT04392401Recruiting
Study immune changes in adults during ICU stay for COVID-19

This study looks at how your immune system responds while you’re in the intensive care unit (ICU) for COVID-19. Researchers will collect samples early in the ICU stay to better understand immune changes during the illness.
