Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You need to have at least 2 mouth sores from Behçet's disease and need medication that works throughout your body (not just creams).
  • You cannot have active Behçet's in major organs like the lungs, blood vessels, brain, or gut (for example, bleeding ulcers or aneurysms).
  • You must not have taken certain immune-suppressing drugs recently (like colchicine, methotrexate, or biologics) or ever taken apremilast.
  • You cannot have other serious autoimmune diseases, active infections, or certain lab abnormalities (like low blood counts or kidney/liver issues).
